Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking several skilled and detail-orientedPAINTERSto join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential commercial and industrial painting projects with a strong understanding of various painting techniques and surface preparation.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning sanding scraping and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
Apply paint stain varnish and other finishes using brushes rollers airless spray equipment or other methods
Perform surface repairs such as caulking plastering and drywall finishing to ensure smooth surfaces before painting
Utilize hand tools and power tools for cutting trimming and fixture installation as needed during projects
Execute specialty coatings including stucco masonry finishes or industrial paints based on project requirements
Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements

Proven experience in residential and commercial painting projects; industrial painting experience is a plus
Skilled in using hand tools such as caulking guns putty knives brushes rollers; proficient with power tools including spray guns and sanders
Familiarity with plastering stucco application and masonry finishing
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites and proper handling of hazardous materials
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project scope
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
Valid construction site experience with the ability to work independently or as part of a team

$20-23/hour
