Job Summary

Minutemen Direct is recruiting for a Superintendentfor a Tier I and II Automotive supplier to lead the daily manufacturing activities of the 24/7 Production and Assembly have automotive background to qualify for this role.5 years of manufacturing environment in a stamping and welding facility preferred. 1st shift and pay is $70K-$100K range.

Responsibilities:

Monitor production requirements and review daily production reports for all areas of manufacturing to ensure daily schedules are on target to meet productdelivery.
Manageandprovidesupporttosupervisorsregardingshiftoperationsquality and welding; serve as liaison between departments.
Prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment to meet customersdemands
Champion initiatives to improve employee performance and createPrideof ownership with employees validating the importance of their contributions tothe business and its customers
Overseeproductionqualityeffortsandaddressallcustomers issuesasthey arise
Holdregularreviewswithsupervisorstokeepcommunication openandreview schedules weekly events and manufacturing issues
Influence people across the functional areas of the business to ensure that manufacturing engineering maintenance and quality are completely aligned with the overall business culture initiatives and strategies.
Continually improve safety records by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes. Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas.
Meet with the Union representatives to manage relations contacts and resolve issues between the Union/bargaining unit and management.
Manage spending against the budget controlling in relation to changes in production volume.

Education/Experience Required:

Education and Experience:MinimumofanAssociates degreeorequivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 5 years ofmanufacturing supervision/managementexperience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:ProficientwithMicrosoftOfficePowerPointanERP production management and inventory control system.
Certificates Licenses Registrations:Validdriverslicense
Reasoning Ability:Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructionsinmathematicalor diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Communication Skills:Ability torespondto common inquiries or complaints from customers regulatory agencies Company management and/or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management employees and customers in written or oral form either in a formal orinformalmanner.
