Who are we looking for

Were seeking a driven and detail-oriented Events and Sponsorships Advisor to support our APAC Marketing and Communications team.

In this APAC-wide role which can be based in any GHD office across Australia New Zealand or Asia you will play a critical part in delivering priority events coordinating sponsorship delivery and ensuring consistent high-quality execution aligned with APAC business priorities.

This role is ideal for an experienced event professional who thrives in fast-paced environments enjoys working with varied stakeholders and is energised by delivering high impact events that elevate GHDs brand across the region.

Working with an energetic and high-performing team you will:

  • Coordinate and deliver a portfolio of APAC level events and conference sponsorships ensuring consistency with GHDs frameworks and brand standards.
  • Lead event logistics end-to-end including planning vendor liaison activation assets team briefings and live delivery.
  • Maintain the calendar of APAC events and sponsorships an APAC membership register and various reporting dashboards.
  • Support senior stakeholders including Market Leaders Sector Leads and Technical Services teams to shape and deliver event programs aligned to strategic priorities.
  • Manage sponsorship benefits contract deliverables and relationships with conference organisers.
  • Create Salesforce Campaigns track event activities and support ROI reporting across regions.
  • Develop and refine event toolkits templates and collateral used by Marketing & Communications teams across APAC.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing Advisors across our all our regions to deliver consistent high-quality events across markets.
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of event delivery processes tools and governance.

What you will bring to the team:

  • 5+ years experience in event management conference delivery or sponsorship coordination ideally across multiple locations or markets.
  • A track record of delivering large complex events and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence engaging senior leaders.
  • Experience using Salesforce and event technology platforms (ON24 desirable).
  • Curiosity initiative and the ability to work autonomously in a matrixed APAC environment.
