Key responsibilities:

• Creating transparency on profitability for inland multicarrier at shipment customer and Area level with large scope and/or complexity.
• Ensures finance and job costing controls are followed and that a proper mindset on revenue assurance and standards is in place.
• Active member of the Finance team bridging upstream process and Financial control.
• Independent influencer and/or decision maker on process changes impacting directly our bottom line and aiming to improve our Area business performance
• Acts as bridge with Finance to ensure that reporting reflects a true and fair representation of the underlying business
• Provide insight in and governance over financials on inland multicarrier execution in line with the standards.
• Detect revenue leakages and implement corrective measures.
• Work with FBP analyzing Cube adjustments by ensuring actuals follow and address deviations monthly.
• Oversee and control the accrual process in coordination with relevant GSC teams
• Optimize financial and delivery KPIs dashboards and ensure backlogs are effectively kept low and in control in close cooperation with Area Delivery Manager and Area FBP.
• Support profitability analysis review margins and ensure accuracy according to buying and selling rates.
• Contribute to form business decisions and enable follow-up on such decisions including margin improvements.
• Perform risk and compliance assessment to ensure necessary documentary evidence records are created and provided as required in the RICC Manual fraud guidelines and other applicable APMM guidelines as far as it cover operational/cx controls. This also includes effective resolution of deficiencies and/or audit findings.
• Participation in the implementation of upstream process improvements in line with the standards and controls
• Finance Governance on new or adjusted customer/system/supplier implementations
• Support on TMS and/or NFTP implementation for in-scope entities and ensure we keep the finance control at and after going live.

We are looking for:

• Strong stakeholder management and indirect leadership skills
• Result-driven strong logical & analytical capacity
• Well organized with high attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of processes within L&S and IS.
• Bachelor degree in finance/engineering/science or related
• TMS Tesalo JDE SAP S4H SAC FACT BW knowledge a clear advantage
• Team player can act with teams regionally locally as well as the GSC
• Can work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills strong integrity
• Experience working in a challenging fast paced and changing environment dealing with a lot of different tasks at the same time.
• Fluent in English.
