The N.C. Department of Information Technology (NCDIT) serves as the Technology Center for the State of NC. Services that NCDIT provides reach a client base of state and local government agencies as well as schools colleges and universities. NCDITs mission is to enable trusted business-driven solutions that meet the needs of North Carolinians. NCDIT provides technology services to state agencies and is charged with closing the digital divide by expanding availability of broadband services and promoting the adoption of affordable high-speed internet.
Description of Work
Recruitment Range: Up to $40/hrKnowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
The following Management Preferences are not required but applicants that possess these skills are preferred:
Experience applying HR practices and compliance regulations with a proven track record of partnering with cross-functional teams (e.g. HR business owners IT developers project managers) to implement industry best practices
Experience with HCM SaaS platforms (e.g. Oracle Cloud HCM Workday SAP SuccessFactors) including demonstrated ability to design and configure solutions perform data mapping develop reports manage integrations and follow the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Experience leading and facilitating stakeholder meetings and delivering clear technical explanations to non-technical audiences combined with strong analytical skills demonstrated through successful resolution of complex system issues

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelors degree in business administration computer science or any related field from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience in business consultation process improvement or requirement gathering in an information technology environment
or
Associate degree in business administration computer science or any related field from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of related experience
or
High School or GED and four years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
