Supply Base Manager (Associate, or Experienced)

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Supply Base Manager (Associate or Experienced). The focus will be on managing our supplier performance and ensuring orders deliver on time to satisfy customer needs while working complex recovery and mitigation plans to avoid risk to overall program schedule.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate Experienced Level Supply Base Managers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options: Dallas TX.

Position Responsibilities

• Leads supplier/subcontractor business relationships program requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations. Manages and monitors supplier quality delivery and financial performance.

• Leads the development of mitigations plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programs.

• Develops and implements supplier base plans to support customer program and commodity strategies.

• Analyzes supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategies. Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers customers and programs.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is Person includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

• 3 years of experience in working with cross-functional teams.

• 3 years of experience managing subcontracted efforts and supplier performance throughout the life-cycle.

• 3 years of experience working with customer and supplier requirements to support program deliveries (e.g. planned versus unplanned demand economic order quantity resource planning material type manufacture or purchase lead times)

• 3 years working with suppliers.

• 1 years of experience in leading complex opportunity capture and problem solving

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

• 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Bachelors degree or higher.

• 1 years of experience of strategic sourcing objectives including supply base optimization enterprise leveraging supplier performance improvement and business considerations to develop the companys supplier base.

• 1 years of experience building and using industry knowledge for planning and performance accomplishment. This includes knowledge of competition and strategic partners.

Typical Education & Experience:

Associate (Level 2):

Typically 3 or more years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor Master etc.) preferred but not required.

Experienced (Level 3):

Typically 6 or more years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor Master etc.) preferred but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate Dallas TX area or relocate at their own expense.
