About the Role
As a Senior Logistics Analyst on the Port and Facility First Mile Transportation team youll play a critical role in ensuring timely and efficient movement of domestic goods from U.S. vendors through Targets consolidation and distribution network.
Youll collaborate with internal partners vendor providers and third-party logistics (3PL) partners to deliver operational excellence strengthen 3PL relationships and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in speed cost and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize product flow from vendor warehouse pickup through consol operations ensuring on-time cost-effective transportation.
- Partner with vendors and 3PL providers to improve performance efficiency and service reliability.
- Use data and KPIs to identify opportunities measure impact and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to execute transportation strategies and special events with precision.
- Lead initiatives to enhance visibility streamline processes and enable faster decision-making.
- Act as a change agentchallenging the status quo and driving innovation across the inbound transportation network.
- Respond quickly and effectively to high-impact operational events to maintain service commitments.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Operations Economics or related field.
- Proven track record of ownership and delivering measurable results.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working with transportation carriers or 3PL partners.
- Demonstrated ability to use data and KPIs to drive performance improvement.
- Process-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Transportation management experience preferred.
