Job Summary

Job role: Data Analyst

Duration: 3-6 months contract to hire

Location: 4 days/week onsite in Raleigh NC 27612

Day in the life:

This person is going to be the lead need to be able to lead project. Follow project through lifecycle gather requirements be able to set up project plan be able to follow through and make the timeline.
Understanding ETL and hands on experience with data migration projects not just experience developing ETL but have experience in big data migration projects and this person needs to understand what it takes to get through project. Person needs data migration experience with ETL.
This person will be reporting on dashboards hands on experience with SSRS.
Needs to be very good in SQL they do SQL statements everywhere
She should be able to assign the project to this person and they can take it and run from it from there say here is my plan here is where I am at what I need to get to the finish line.
They are getting closer to being on the Azure cloud they do have some tools on cloud environments.

Must Haves:

5 years of SSRS/SSIS experience
Has been a lead for a Data Analyst project before
Experience developing/maintaining complex ETL processes using SQL Server SSIS
Advanced skills in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for performance enhancement
Experience with large scale data migration projects
Does not want to see people hopping from job to job in candidate experience even if contract work. Need longer than 2 years at one place.

Nice to Haves:

Team lead experience has lead a data migration project
If they have experience using data governance tools. They are having discussions of Meta Data Management as a company no one on the team has experience with this kind of stuff.
Agile development experience run SCRUM
