About the Role We are seeking an organized empathetic Bilingual in Spanish Care Coordinator to serve as the primary point of contact for patients enrolled in our virtual obesity care programs. This role ensures smooth operations excellent patient experiences and efficient care delivery. Responsibilities include scheduling preauthorizations insurance verification and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. This is a nonclinical position.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for patients providing clear supportive communication
- Manage scheduling appointment confirmations and followup outreach
- Assist with preauthorizations and insurance verification to prevent care delays
- Support daily clinical operations including documentation and recordkeeping
- Engage patients proactively to encourage adherence to care plans
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelors degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare coordination administration or patient support (required)
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Telehealth experience and familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid populations (preferred)
- Proficiency with scheduling tools telehealth platforms EHR systems and Google Workspace
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Reliable internet connection and a HIPAAcompliant private workspace
