On behalf of one of our clients operating in the manufacturing and product development industry the French Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Business Development Manager South Asia based in Singapore.
Our client is building a global sales network and need extremely motivated individuals to own B2B expansion in South Asia. Prospect importers wholesalers and major retailers; pitch bulk deals secure shelf space/listings and drive revenue. This is a high-hustle role for hunters who want to grow with them no experience required if you have the drive and local connections!
Key Responsibilities
Aggressively prospect importers wholesalers and big retail chains daily (cold outreach market visits buyer meetings).
Demo products and close B2B partnerships for bulk orders or retail placement.
Build long-term relationships with key players (major chains like Aeon/Tesco in Malaysia etc.).
Strong at networking : Attend all major networking events fairs (trade fairs exhibitions industry chambers gatherings in homeware/kitchenware sector across South Asia/Southeast Asia).
Generate leads run targeted outreach or samples and hit weekly/monthly targets.
Submit a report from each event (contacts leads opportunities photos/feedback).
Submit simple weekly reports (sales progress prospects contacted photos/feedback via email/WeChat/WhatsApp).
Requirements

Strong local mobility and networks (retail wholesale importers preferred).
Fluency in the local language is essential for effective pitches and negotiations along with professional proficiency in English.
Proactive hunter mindset: experience in B2B sales retail outreach or business development is great but motivation and hustle are #1!
Outgoing disciplined smartphone-ready for quick reporting and content.
Immediate availability to start building our network.
