About Us
Martide Manning Latvia SIA is a licensed manning agency thats changing the way crew managers recruit plan and manage seafarers. We currently provide high-quality crew to more than 100 vessels connecting seafarers with reputable employers throughout the maritime industry. As part of a respected international group we understand that nothing less than an outstanding level of service is essential.
As such were now seeking a committed and highly motivated Managing Director to lead our Latvian office into its next phase of development and operational excellence. If this sounds like you and you have experience in the maritime industry wed love to hear from you.
Role Overview
As Managing Director you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of Martide Manning Latvia SIA. You will act as the legal representative of the company drive growth and innovation and ensure compliance with international and Latvian regulations. Reporting directly to the shareholders you will play a key role in shaping the companys long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
Implement corporate strategy and goals.
Build and structure the organization while leading managing and motivating employees.
Oversee personnel planning hiring and development.
Manage budgets and liquidity and control key financial figures.
Manage and report on operational key performance indicators.
Ensure compliance with Latvian and international regulations.
Represent the company legally to authorities clients and stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong professional networks and external relations.
Identify market trends and promote innovation and digital transformation.
Establish and oversee ISO 9001 quality management systems.
Promote a company-wide quality culture and ensure continuous improvement.
Monitor customer feedback and implement optimization measures.
Requirements
Proven leadership experience at senior management level.
Strong background in governance compliance and business operations.
Experience in crewing in the maritime industry.
Financial acumen and understanding of strategic planning.
Excellent communication networking and decision-making skills.
Business fluent Latvian and English language skills.
