The Marine Services Project Manager Canada will serve as the primary point of contact with a specific critical customer. Responsibilities include project planning/execution/monitoring & controlling invoicing and issues resolution with a focus on end user support On Time Delivery (OTD) and revenue/CM growth. You will report to the Director of Naval Projects and manage the day-to-day execution of multiple concurrent projects.

Essential Responsibilities:
As the Marine Services Project Manager Canada you will:
- Plan coordinate and execute design build and installation support activities across GE and subcontracted resources ensuring that work is completed within the requirements of the contract and ensuring cost quality and schedule constraints are met or exceeded
- Collect required information to build detailed project schedule and maintain schedule accuracy throughout execution. Identify project risks and vulnerabilities developing contingencies and preventative actions to ensure successful project execution
- Identify manage and execute day-to-day operational aspects of program scope while adapting to changing needs and requirements of the end user customer
- Maintain accurate project milestone accuracy creating visible and predictable data for key business metrics and revenue forecasting
- Accountable for the contract revenue contribution margin and cash collection targets in support of the PC North America region. Support day to day operations including QMI reviews contract reviews CMR reviews one OTR process and regional reviews
- Own all communication and regular tracking of contract activities open action items and all aspects of contract status to key stakeholders including work item kick-off regular status updates risks and opportunities management
- Identification escalation and resolution of issue/risks which might affect customer satisfaction and GE operational targets
- Be a self-motivated team player who can drive cross-functional teams and communicate the results effectively to stakeholders
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
- At least 6 years of experience in a project management engineering or manufacturing role and/or working in a lead capacity implementing projects in a field environment
Eligibility Requirements (Must meet all 4 bullets below):
- Canadian Citizen
- Have or Ability to obtain a Canadian Controlled Goods Clearance
- Have or Ability to obtain a Canadian Enhanced Reliability Status
- Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience with Primavera P6
- Experience with SAP
- PMP certification
- Previous experience in the Royal Canadian Navy / Canadian Coast Guard
- Government or industry support of Government experience
- Background in a customer facing Service Delivery or Project Management position within a Service environment. Ability to establish and maintain long-term relationships with Government customers.
- Technical knowledge of power conversion products (controls/automation variable frequency drives power)
- Ability to learn and follow defined departmental policies procedures and practices
- Ability to make decisions with regards to completion of tasks and job methods and follow through with results of outcome
- Strong verbal written presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to develop clear message using MS Office tools (PowerPoint word excel project)
- Ability to lead composite teams in a matrix organization
- Ability to prioritize workload and shift work activities to meet business needs and department goals
For candidates applying to a Canadian-based position the pay range for this position is between $102200.00 and $127800.00 CAD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: 300.00 CAD Annual Fitness Reimbursement Professional Membership Reimbursement.
