Job Summary

Role: Database SME/Architect

Location: Calgary

Experience- 8 years

Required Skills:

working knowledge of Oracle SQL Server and PaaS Databases

PowerShell scripting skills including automation and configuring DBMS monitoring utilities

implementation knowledge of SSIS SSAS SSRS and strong backup/RPO/RTO expertise

Preferred Skills:

installing configuring and designing SQL & Oracle instances including highavailability setup (SQL 2016/2019/2022 Oracle 10g/12c/19c)

to Azure SQL Server migration experience

tuning (database and application) capacity planning and maintaining documentation/standards

The Database SME/Architect will manage Oracle SQL Server and PaaS databasesincluding installation configuration performance tuning automation and ensuring reliable backup and recovery as per RPO/RTO needs.

The role also involves handling migrations (onprem to cloud and crossplatform) highavailability solutions SSIS/SSAS/SSRS implementations and resolving database outages while maintaining standards and documentation.
