ABOUT THE CLIENT:

Our client is an industry-leading provider of premium turf solutions across four farm locations in Australia. Committed to delivering exceptional quality and service we are now seeking to consolidate and streamline our Accounts Payable function through the introduction of an experienced offshore Accounts Payable Officer.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for efficiently managing and consolidating the Accounts Payable processes across our four farm locations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail excellent communication skills and a proven ability to process high volumes of invoices accurately and promptly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately process invoices and ensure timely payment of suppliers across multiple locations.
  

• Reconcile supplier statements investigate discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  

• Coordinate with internal teams across different farm locations to ensure consistent and accurate information flow.
  

• Maintain accurate records and filing systems for easy retrieval and audit readiness.
  

• Generate and review reports regularly providing insights into payables status and aging.
  

• Assist in month-end financial close processes including reconciliations and accruals.
  

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline and enhance the efficiency of the Accounts Payable process.
  

• Manage process and reconcile all accounts payable transactions including issuing remittance advices.
  

• Process and reconcile company credit card transactions.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in an Accounts Payable role ideally supporting multiple locations or entities.
  

• Strong understanding of accounting principles especially related to Accounts Payable. University degree in accounting is high regarded.
  

• Proficiency with accounting software preferably MYOB AccountRight and Microsoft Office especially Excel.
  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  

• Exceptional organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  

• Experience working remotely or offshore supporting international businesses is highly desirable.
