| Job Description |
What you will be doing: - Ensure compliance with and stay up to date on US regulations governing renewable energy projects and the import of equipment.
- Develop legal and commercial solutions to meet regulatory requirements.
- Work with customers to structure solutions tailored to their equipment and project needs.
- Draft a range of contracts and other legal documents.
- Provide internal clients with advice on risk compliance and the regulatory environment.
- Manage general legal administrative tasks including filings in the US.
- Engage with regulators regarding regulatory changes and developments.
- Support M&A projects finance and general corporate law matters.
Experience you will need: - Qualified to practice law in the US UK Hong Kong Taiwan Australia or New Zealand.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in-house at a law firm or in government with at least 2 years’ post-qualification.
- Proven 3 years paralegal experience with a strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
- Native English speaker with excellent communication skills.
- Strong document drafting and commercial negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in project management capable of handling multiple cases efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Law Degree.
