Job Summary

Job Title: Locum Physician - Neurohospitalist

This locum position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art hospital providing specialized care in neurology. As part of a collaborative team you will be instrumental in delivering quality healthcare to a diverse patient population.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide on-call coverage and manage patient admissions and care.
Diagnose and treat neurological conditions such as autoimmune encephalitis acute myasthenia gravis exacerbation and refractory epilepsy.
Conduct essential procedures including EEGs EMGs and brain death exams.
Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues.
Supervise ventilation management and EKG interpretation.
Collaborate with advanced practice providers to ensure continuity of care.
Utilize EPIC for documentation.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Neurology (REQUIRED).
Valid Ohio medical license (REQUIRED).
BLS and ACLS certification (REQUIRED).
COVID vaccination verified at the time of name clearance (REQUIRED).
Flu vaccination at the time of credentialing (REQUIRED).
Self-Query NPDB report obtained within 30 days of presentation (REQUIRED).

License and Certification Requirements:

Ohio Medical License (REQUIRED).
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (REQUIRED).
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (REQUIRED).
Board certified in Neurology (REQUIRED).
