What you will do

This position is to provide technical leadership for the site maintenance planning and scheduling team coordination with site key stakeholders drive innovation via applying intelligence into core business processes.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage the maintenance planning and scheduling department that provides asset management maintenance & calibration adherence technical support on CMMS for site equipment.
• Provide leadership and technical expertise for planning and scheduling team
• Support maintenance planning scheduling and execution
• Support consistent global asset management and maintenance practices throughout sites.
• Function as a technical expert to Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) regarding process flow troubleshooting system issues and point of contact during compliance inspections. Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems.
• Supports the development and career aspiration of direct reports.
• Assure the appropriate level of trainings such as cGMPs technical SOPs compliance trainings and maintain records for staff.
• Focus staff on high value operational excellence activities in support of strategic goals
• Work closely with clients and support groups in a team based collaborative environment
• Oversee the development revision review and approval of Standard Operating Procedures/Job Plans that are owned by the maintenance department.
• Support project engineering in the justification prioritization and coordination of manufacturing projects. Provide assistance as required using knowledge CMMS and asset management.
• Partner with Compliance and Quality Assurance Departments to ensure asset management strategies are in alliance with our compliance commitments.
• Maintain an environment that promotes agility and flexibility consistent maintenance practices and efficient operations which prepare us for current and future production demands.

• Identify recruit and retain talent
• Effectively manage talent via goals objectives and staff development activities
• Create and sustain an environment allowing for professional and personal growth through open communication trust and respect

Organization Leadership

• Provide oversight of Process Equipment System Owners in biologics / Synthetics manufacturing facilities
• Manage staff performance and career development
• Coach and mentor engineers to develop their technical competency and leadership skills

Asset Management

• Competence in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) application structure and workflow process and preferably with Maximo system (CMMS)
• CMMS administration Manage CMMS account requests and provide technical assistance to CMMS Client Base
• Support Capital Project by taking the lead in managing the overall development of CMMS master data to enable the development of maintenance job plan Preventive Maintenance and the calibration of instruments.
• CMMS Advisor Ability to sit on project teams and provides SME advice and direction for Asset management.
• Ensure Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) data is accurate and aligned with maintenance strategy
• Metric development and management

• Monthly Metrics Ability to run specific metrics each month.
• Metric Review Ability to develop review and validate metrics generated by our IFM / ISP partners.
• Data analysis. Ability to review and provide detailed analysis of CMMS data.

Innovation & Technology

• Advancement in new and innovative technologies to improve Planning & Scheduling business processes

Maintenance & Calibration Program

• Manage overall interface with Maintenance Engineering and cross functional Teams to coordinate all planned and unplanned maintenance activities to ensure on-time completion
• Coordinate daily work schedule and work assignments with maintenance execution team
• Work with System Owners to address work requests and scheduling
• Effectively communicate with key customers and support groups regarding maintenance activities.
• Ensure Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) data is accurate and aligned with maintenance strategy.
• Effectively communicate and utilize key performance indicators for planning & scheduling and asset management.

Plant Shutdown Leadership

• Support overall plant shutdowns

Basic Qualifications

• Doctorate degreeOR
• Masters degree and 2 years of directly related experienceOR
• Bachelors degree and 4 years of directly related experienceOR
• Diploma and 8 years of directly related experience
• Leadership and team building skills.
• Strong client facing/customer service skills with the ability to anticipate client business needs develop options with recommendations and provide regular effective feedback to clients on work being performed.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas and principles in a manner than non-engineering clients and decision makers can effectively use in meeting their business objectives.
• Ability to recognize strategic implications of organizations activities execute strategic initiatives manage multiple resource demands prioritize resources assess project effectiveness and efficiency and manage demands.
• Ability to meet position requirements with minimal direct supervision.
• Strong time management organization and prioritization skills
• Display technical mastery in the administration of the Maximo CMMS system
• Demonstrate a high degree of creativity foresight and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems.
• Outstanding computer skills (MS Excel Outlook Word PowerPoint and MS Project
• Excel SME Expertise with Excel functions formulas and charts
• Communication Skills Ability to effectively communicate with varied client base project team members and Management.
• MS Office Suite Ability to use all the applications in MS Office
