What Youll Do as a Physical Therapist Assistant

As a valued part of our care team you will:

  • Deliver high-quality physical therapy services in accordance with professional standards
  • Follow and support the Physical Therapists established Plan of Care
  • Report patient status changes promptly to the supervising PT
  • Adhere to all State Practice Act guidelines
  • Provide safe effective instruction on assistive devices
  • Teach home exercise programs to patients and caregivers
  • Support functional mobility through handson patient care
  • Work in a physically demanding environment (lifting 50100 lbs)

Every visit you make empowers patients to stay safe comfortable and independent at home.

What You Need

  • Graduate of an accredited PTA program
  • Current unrestricted PTA license in the state of practice
  • 6 months of PTA experience preferred
  • Willing and able to travel within the service area (up to 50%)
  • Reliable vehicle valid drivers license & auto insurance
  • Ability to lift transfer and assist patients safely
