What Youll Do as a Physical Therapist Assistant
As a valued part of our care team you will:
- Deliver high-quality physical therapy services in accordance with professional standards
- Follow and support the Physical Therapists established Plan of Care
- Report patient status changes promptly to the supervising PT
- Adhere to all State Practice Act guidelines
- Provide safe effective instruction on assistive devices
- Teach home exercise programs to patients and caregivers
- Support functional mobility through handson patient care
- Work in a physically demanding environment (lifting 50100 lbs)
Every visit you make empowers patients to stay safe comfortable and independent at home.
What You Need
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Current unrestricted PTA license in the state of practice
- 6 months of PTA experience preferred
- Willing and able to travel within the service area (up to 50%)
- Reliable vehicle valid drivers license & auto insurance
- Ability to lift transfer and assist patients safely
