Pay Rate: $40$45 per hour

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking SPED ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) Teacherfor an exciting job in Sterling VA.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct ECSE instruction to preschool-aged students across disability categories

• Develop implement and monitor IEPs in compliance with IDEA and state regulations

• Design play-based and structured learning activities supporting early academic communication social-emotional motor and self-help skills

• Provide instruction in individual small-group and inclusive preschool settings

• Collect and document data to track progress toward IEP goals

• Collaborate with preschool staff related service providers and multidisciplinary teams

• Participate in IEP meetings parent conferences and eligibility meetings

• Implement positive behavior supports and age-appropriate classroom management strategies

• Maintain accurate documentation progress reports and compliance records

• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and support strategies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Early Childhood Special Education or Special Education

• Active or eligible Virginia ECSE teaching license or appropriate endorsement

• Experience working with young children with disabilities

• Strong knowledge of early childhood development IDEA and IEP processes

• Ability to deliver differentiated developmentally appropriate instruction

• Strong communication organization and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior ECSE teaching experience in school-based or early childhood settings

• Experience supporting children with developmental delays ASD or speech/language needs

• Familiarity with inclusive preschool models and collaborative teaching

• Experience with data-driven and play-based instructional approaches
