The Boeing CompanyBDS Business Transformation has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager Project Management Business Transformation (Level M) role in support of Site Strategy and Business Affordability and Governance.
In this role the candidate will be responsible for working across various functions to include program management engineering finance facilities and Business Development and Strategy across all BDS businesses and programs.
Position Responsibilities:
Site Optimization
Secure infrastructure modernization
Make Buy and Work Placement decisions
Integrated investment affordability and governance
Manages employees and mid-level managers develop projects and program plans at all levels across functional areas and executes all project phases to achieve objectives within scope time quality and constraints from initiation to post completion
Develops and executes integrated organizational plans policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies goals objectives
Acquires resources for organizational activities provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes
Manages develops and motivates employees and mid-level manager
The ideal candidate will be:
Well versed in the defense industrial base having a strong understanding of Boeings strategic priorities
A multi-disciplined background with understanding of technology infrastructure and program management
Able to lead a cross functional team
Able to succinctly drive decision making with senior leadership
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3 years of experience in a management role with both people and business unit leadership responsibilities
10 years of experience in the aerospace industry
3 years of experience in leading others and directing all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry
Bachelors Degree or higher
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Masters Degree in related field
