Sacred Heart School in Bellevue is seeking a long-term substitute religion teacher from February 23 to June 12to join ourmiddle school team immediately. This substitute position has the potential to become a full-time permanent position. The duties of this position will include:

• Teaching 6th 7th and 8th grade religion classes at the school
• Partnering with the youth ministry team in planning and supporting retreats for grades 6-8 at the school
• Leading the student faith commission
• Coordinating service opportunities for students
• Partnering with the Elementary Religion Specialist in a variety of school-wide faith activities

Candidates for this position must be an active practicing Catholic. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Catholic theology religion catechetics or youth ministry alongwithclassroom teaching should be interested in working as part of an educational team comfortable using educational technology to enhance instruction and able to differentiateinstruction to meet the needs of all students. A teaching certification is a plus but not required.

Salary:The salary range for this position is from $62000-$102000 (pro-rated for the portion of the year worked).Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity internal salary ranges market data applicants skills and prior relevant experience degrees and certifications.
