Requirements
Instruct all aspects of Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Foundation per the SkilledTradesBC program outline.
Requirements
- Served a 4 year Apprenticeship as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or Commercial Transport Mechanic
- Commercial Transport or Heavy Duty Technician Red Seal Certification with minimum 5 years of related post-certification experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint email Internet)
Assets:
- Post-Secondary teaching experience
- Additional certificates education experience or training related to the Trade
- Provincial Instructors Diploma or an Education Degree
- Supervisory experience
- Automotive Service Tech Red Seal (Dual Ticket pay increase provided)
