As the Commercial Account Manager you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to an established book of commercial clients while supporting retention growth and overall client satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:
Client Relationship Management:
o Act as the primary point of contact for commercial clients providing day-to-day service policy maintenance and renewal support.
o Build trusted long-term relationships by understanding client operations exposures and evolving insurance needs.
Policy & Renewal Management:
o Manage the full renewal cycle including data collection submissions to markets negotiation of terms and presentation of coverage options.
o Collaborate with insurers and internal stakeholders to secure competitive coverage solutions aligned with client risk profiles.
Collaboration & Advisory Support:
o Work closely with producers insurers and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and account strategy execution.
o Proactively identify coverage gaps cross-selling opportunities and risk management solutions that support client objectives and brokerage growth.
To succeed in this role candidates should demonstrate the following:
Education & Experience:
o Level 2 General Insurance Licence.
o Minimum of 3 years of commercial insurance experience in an account management or similar role.
o Candidates must currently reside on the North Shore; only North Shorebased candidates will be considered.
Technical Skills:
o Strong working knowledge of commercial insurance products policy wordings and renewal processes.
o Proficiency with brokerage management systems and Microsoft Office; experience working with multiple insurer portals is an asset.
Key Competencies:
o Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a strong client-service mindset.
o Highly organized detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
