Position Required: Personal Care Worker
Status: Casual
Date Required: ASAP
Salary: According to Collective Agreement (CUPE 5525)
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Successful completion of Personal Support Worker certification program through:
- the vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities
- the standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges or
- the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association; and
- must be a minimum of 600 hours in duration counting both class time and practical experience time.
- Must be Registered as a Personal Support Worker
- A genuine interest in and knowledge of techniques used in caring for the elderly
- Previous experience in Long-Term Care or Community Care a definite asset.

Candidates are invited to apply for the above positions to work at Villa Colombo Toronto a 391-bed long-term care facility located in Toronto Ontario.
A police reference check for the vulnerable sector not older than 6 months will be required upon hire.
