Salary: According to Collective Agreement (CUPE 5525)

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• Successful completion of Personal Support Worker certification program through:
• the vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities
• the standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges or
• the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association; and
• must be a minimum of 600 hours in duration counting both class time and practical experience time.
• Must be Registered as a Personal Support Worker
• A genuine interest in and knowledge of techniques used in caring for the elderly
• Previous experience in Long-Term Care or Community Care a definite asset.
