Are you someone who enjoys being hands-on helping people and making sure things run smoothly behind the scenes The Northern Land Council (NLC) is looking for a reliable and community-minded Logistics and Customer Service Assistant to support our Darwin Daly Wagait team in delivering services to our constituents.

About the Role

As a Logistics & Customer Service Assistant youll provide on-the-ground support to regional activities and meeting schedules. This includes transporting constituents and stakeholders setting up venues assisting with catering and hospitality and supporting basic meeting administration.

Youll work closely with the Darwin Daly Wagait Regional team to ensure services are delivered safely respectfully and on time. This role suits someone who enjoys practical work working with community and being part of a team that supports Aboriginal leadership and decision-making.

What you will Bring

Youre a practical community-minded person with a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude. You take pride in supporting others working safely and doing the job properlywhether thats setting up a meeting driving people to a venue or helping keep things organised behind the scenes.

In addition to this you will have: -

• An ability to assist and/or undertake manual handling tasks including large event management camping set ups cooking and purchasing equipment/consumables.
• Hold a valid unrestricted manual drivers license.
• Experience driving a 4x4 vehicle safely.
• Hold a current Senior First Aid Certificate or be willing to obtain

• A base salary of $64542 per annum plus 15% superannuation and salary sacrificing up to $15900 meal entertainment and holiday accommodation benefits up to $2650 per year;

• District allowance of up to $4884 per annum for individuals with dependents and $2678 without dependents;
• 5 weeks annual leave leaving loading 18 days personal leave;
• Paid Christmas close down;
• Upon completion of 12 months of service an Annual airfare with a net (in hand) value of $3177;
