The Line Cook at Golfzon Social Palisades is responsible for preparing menu items with consistency speed and attention to quality. This position plays a key role in delivering a great guest experience by ensuring all food is prepared accurately and presented to standard.
Reports To: Kitchen Supervisor
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook all menu items according to company recipes portion standards and plating guidelines.
- Maintain a clean organized and sanitized workstation throughout service.
- Communicate clearly with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Follow proper food safety holding temperatures labeling and storage procedures.
- Assist with daily prep station setup and end-of-shift breakdown and cleaning.
- Ensure all products are rotated properly using the FIFO (First-In First-Out) method.
- Uphold high standards of food consistency and quality during peak service times.
- Report any equipment issues product shortages or safety concerns to the Kitchen Supervisor immediately.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a professional kitchen preferred but training is available for motivated candidates.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tickets at once.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in food quality and presentation.
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and safety procedures.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays.
