Summary
General custodial duties throughout municipal buildings and facilities. Approximately 20-30 hours per week. Schedules may vary throughout the calendar year and may include nights and weekends.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Sweeps mops waxes and buffs floors
- Vacuums and dusts
- Event setup and takedown
- Cleans windows and restrooms
- Checks security of building and individual office spaces
- Orders all custodial supplies and equipment
- Other duties may be assigned as needed. *

Qualifications
- Related experience preferred
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
Working conditions and physical demands that relate directly to the essential job duties and responsibilities to be compliant the American with Disabilities Act. While performing these duties the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger handle or feel: reach with hands and arms and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop kneel crouch or crawl; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 100 pounds. While performing these duties the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; outside weather conditions; wet or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration. The noise level in the workplace is usually moderate. Required to use personal protective equipment to prevent hazardous exposure. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals to perform these essential functions.
