Position Summary
We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based assignment in an elementary school setting. The SLP will provide speech and language services to a student population in collaboration with school staff and another on-site SLP. This position is open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) with supervision provided by the school.
Key Responsibilities
Provide speech-language evaluations therapy and progress monitoring for elementary school students
Manage and maintain a caseload of approximately 40 students shared with another Speech Language Pathologist
Develop implement and document Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
Collaborate with teachers special education staff administrators and parents to support student success
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services evaluations and progress notes
Participate in IEP meetings team conferences and school-based planning activities
Adhere to school district policies ethical standards and professional best practices
Required Qualifications
Active South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license
Eligibility to work in a school-based setting
Strong communication organizational and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
School-based SLP experience
Experience working with elementary-aged students
Familiarity with IEP development and special education services
Clinical Fellowship (CF) Information
Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
Supervision and mentorship will be provided by the school
