Boeing Defence United Kingdom LimitedAn opportunity has arisen for a Business Systems Architect to join a small dedicated IT capability within the UK that leverages the extensive IT resources of the worldwide Boeing Company to deliver complex solutions to the business and its clients.
The Business Systems Architect bridges business strategy and technology by translating high-level goals into technical requirements creating capability maps value streams and roadmaps ensuring systems and capabilities align with organisational objectives and enterprise strategy. They focus on improving efficiency security and performance while collaborating with stakeholders technical teams and vendors. Key duties include developing business system architecture supporting governance and advising on strategic improvements to deliver business value.
The successful candidate must gain the confidence of both business and technical staff acting as a conduit between these groups at national and international levels. They will be a strong communicator able to present ideas facilitate workshops and elicit needs from the business. The candidate should be a self-starter with experience working in a matrix organisation and the ability to discuss ideas and concepts with staff at all levels. Stakeholder engagement is a critical aspect of this role.
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring teams discretion and could potentially change in the future

Security Clearance
This position requires the ability to acquire a UK security Clearance for which the UK Government requires UK residency. The successful candidate will hold or have the ability to acquire Security Clearance (SC).

This requisition is for a locally hired position in the United Kingdom. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom.
