Job Summary
- Conferring with suppliersto obtain prices specifications and product details.
- Negotiating prices contracts and delivery termsto achieve optimal procurement outcomes.
- Sourcing and Evaluating potential suppliersfor bothdirect and indirect materials/servicesfor best package in terms of quality price terms deliveries and services.
- Maintaining complete and updatedpurchasing records supplier data and pricingin SAP system.
- Coordinating withuser departments and suppliersfor project-related purchasing scope.
- Supporting relevant departments withquotations for tenders and proposals.
- Coordinating with suppliers to ensureon-time delivery.
- Issuingpurchase ordersin accordance withtechnical specifications and requirements.
- Identifying and sourcingnew parts suppliers or subcontractors when required.
- Diploma/Bachelors Degree inBusiness Studies Administration Management Supply Chain or equivalent.
- Provenexperience in direct and indirect sourcing with strong knowledge of end-to-end procurement processes.
- Experience in sourcing electrical/electronic components or suppliersis an added advantage.
- Strongnegotiation skillsand ability to build long-term supplier relationships.
- Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
