Job Summary
About the role
You will design and build innovative data solutions that power SEEKs analytics machine learning and reporting this role you will partner with product owners engineers and analysts to define data models pipelines and integration architecture that accelerate decision-making. You will report to the Head of Data Engineering within the AI & Platform Services team and collaborate across SEEKs global data community. Success in this role means lifting data maturity guiding technical direction and enabling teams to self-serve trusted well-designed data. You will transform conceptual ideas into actionable data strategies that scale across multiple business domains.
Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end data architecture and design patterns
- Partner with product and engineering to deliver scalable data solutions
- Translate business needs into efficient models and pipelines
- Develop solutions that enable analytics ML and data storytelling
- Govern design standards and guide technical implementation
- Champion data quality lineage and consistency across platforms
- Mentor others and contribute to SEEKs data innovation roadmap
Qualifications :
Skills and experience
- Bachelors in Computer Science Data Engineering or related field
- Proven experience designing complex data architectures
- Skilled in SQL Python cloud technologies (AWS or GCP)
- Strong understanding of data modeling ETL and integration tools
- Knowledge of modern data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks
- Ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
