Job Summary
The Service Shuttle Driver will be responsible for assisting with vehicle movement giving shuttle rides and performing valet pickups and drop offs as well as maintaining the dealerships appearance while delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly and professional attitude answers their questions and directs them to the appropriate person or location.
- Give shuttle rides and perform valet pick-ups and drop offs.
- Determines if customers coming into service have an appointment.
- Records customers name VIN tag number mileage and existing vehicle damage (walk around)
- Move and park vehicles in the dealership premises and to maintain flow of traffic.
- Drives vehicles to and from service lane service stalls and parking lot as needed.
- Keep the dealership lot driveways and sidewalks clean organized and presentable.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Retrieve customer vehicles at cashier for pick-up; wait at vehicle for customer thank customers for their business.
- Install disposable seat covers steering wheel covers floor mats and I.D. tags in all the vehicles taken in for service.
- Assist with loaner vehicles and keeping the shop clean.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
Qualifications :
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Physically able to drive and move vehicles
- Strong attention to detail to maintain the dealerships professional appearance
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
- Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing background check MVR.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with shuttle driving and/or valet pickups and drop offs
Additional Information :
(The Shuttle Driver opportunity has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $20.00.)
