- Prepare and bake a variety of breads pastries and bakery items to fivestar standards
- Ensure consistency in taste texture and presentation across all baked goods
- Support daily production for breakfast banqueting restaurants and inroom dining
- Maintain strict hygiene food safety and allergen control procedures
- Assist with menu development and seasonal bakery offerings
- Monitor stock levels manage ingredients and minimise waste
- Collaborate with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
- Train and guide junior team members in bakery techniques and standards
Qualifications :
- 2-3 years previous experience as a Baker or Pastry Commis/Chef de Partie in a luxury or highvolume environment
- Strong knowledge of artisanal baking techniques dough handling lamination and pastry fundamentals
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to Fairmont brand standards
- Ability to work early mornings and manage production timelines efficiently
- Strong organisational and communication skills
