Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Grand Mercure Mysore India. As a Housekeeping Associate you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness hygiene and overall appearance of our facilities ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests and staff.
- Clean and maintain assigned areas including guest rooms public spaces and employee areas
- Follow established cleaning procedures and standards to ensure consistent quality
- Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns
- Restock amenities and supplies in guest rooms and public areas
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
- Maintain accurate records of cleaned rooms and completed tasks
- Adhere to safety and security protocols at all times
- Assist with laundry services as needed
Qualifications :
- Proficiency in various cleaning techniques and procedures
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic knowledge of inventory management for cleaning supplies
- Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment
- Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality industry preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Relevant certifications in housekeeping or hospitality a plus
