Job Summary

Your Role in the Story 

As the Restaurant Manager at Mimi Kakushi of LUURA you will oversee all aspects of the restaurants operations ensuring that every service experience and interaction reflects the avant-garde Japanese-inspired concept of the outlet while upholding the high standards of RIKAS. You are responsible for delivering a seamless elevated guest journeyfrom greeting to farewellcombining creativity precision and operational excellence.

You will lead with a hands-on visible presence on the floor setting benchmarks for service professionalism and guest engagement. Your expertise will ensure smooth front-of-house and back-of-house coordination drive team performance support staff development and deliver commercial results. You will safeguard the restaurants unique identity while embedding brands values operational standards and culture throughout the team.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Oversee all daily operations at Mimi Kakushi ensuring smooth service flow operational efficiency and memorable guest experiences.
  • Uphold and communicate the restaurants Japanese-inspired avant-garde philosophy ensuring the concept remains consistent in every aspect of service and presentation.
  • Lead inspire and manage all restaurant staff including hiring onboarding scheduling training performance evaluations and continuous development.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs operational manuals and training materials tailored to Mimi Kakushis unique service style and culinary concept.
  • Conduct pre-shift line-ups ongoing coaching and training sessions to ensure staff deliver consistently high standards.
  • Be present on the floor throughout service actively coaching monitoring guest interactions and personally assisting with VIP or special requests.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally ensuring resolution and maintaining the brands reputation.
  • Collaborate closely with the F&B Manager Chef and other departments to ensure seamless coordination between kitchen service and support functions.
  • Manage inventory stock and ordering processes for the restaurant ensuring operational readiness and availability of specialty ingredients sake and beverages.
  • Monitor and control budgets P&L and operational costs while maintaining service quality and guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee the ambiance presentation music lighting and decor ensuring it aligns with Mimi Kakushis avant-garde Japanese aesthetic.
  • Support the kitchen team during service when necessary to ensure smooth coordination and service flow.
  • Plan and execute special events seasonal menus and unique guest experiences that reinforce the restaurants brand identity.
  • Analyze guest feedback operational data and market trends to drive continuous improvement innovation and elevated dining experiences.
  • Utilize HR and operational systems for staff scheduling performance tracking payroll and compliance reporting.
  • Foster a motivated professional and culturally aligned team ensuring high staff engagement retention and talent development.
  • Lead by example demonstrating professionalism precision and dedication to Mimi Kakushis unique service culture.
  • Adapt standards and ways of working as per Rikas direction and standards.

Qualifications :

Who Were Looking For 

  • Minimum of 57 years experience in upscale F&B or restaurant management preferably within luxury or lifestyle properties. 
  • Proven experience managing multi-outlet operations and leading diverse teams. 
  • Pre-opening experience at a Greek island will be considered a plus. 
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations guest service standards and luxury hospitality trends. 
  • Excellent leadership coaching and team development skills with the ability to motivate and retain talent. 
  • Experience with budgeting inventory management and P&L oversight. 
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities especially in high-pressure situations. 
  • Proficient in operational software POS systems and scheduling tools. 
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. 
  • Strong communication interpersonal and organizational skills. 
  • Deep understanding of health safety and hygiene regulations. 
  • Eligible to work in (EU) countries. 
  • High standards of personal presentation and professionalism. 
  • Naturally warm approachable and attentive to guest needs leading by example on the floor.
