About this role
Our Private Enterprise team is looking for a Business Services Accountant to join our vibrant friendly Brisbane office.
Business leaders face many challenges throughout the business lifecycle: from managing daily operations tax and compliance to navigating a competitive landscape and planning an exit strategy. Key responsibilities
This is a hands-on role involving a varied client portfolio and a broad range of activities including:
Work closely with our clients in meeting their accounting and tax compliance requirements including preparation of financial statements income tax returns BAS FBT and payroll tax returns
Build collaborative relationships with a broad range of clients from SMEs to large companies on a foundation of trust and competency
Assist with accounting and tax advisory work that supports our clients business
Provide developmental support to other team members through coaching and mentoring opportunities as required
Skills and experience
Qualification(s) and / or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business / Commerce Accounting or Finance or other relevant professional or overseas qualification(s)
Have commenced (or planning to commence) CA qualification
Significant professional experience in business and tax advisory within a chartered accounting setting
Excellent written and spoken communication skills with a desire to go above and beyond to provide an exceptional client experience
Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities within a deadline-driven environment
Experience in the use of Xero accounting software will be highly regarded
