Job Summary

Job Summary
The Special Projects Coordinator manages one or more specific Division new temporary or ongoing projects with minimal supervision. This position oversees the project planning implementation review deliverables and wrap-up process; documents all aspects working closely with internal and external constituents to ensure the scope of projects is appropriate and complies with university policies and Division procedures and goals. The coordinator provides and maintains a professional presence at Extension Campus orchestrates meetings and facilitates new partnerships business and programs.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Coordinates and manages new temporary and ongoing projects for EEC by developing programs and planning implementing establishing and monitoring key performance indicators and following up. Develop and maintain project budgets. Handles the daily operations of assigned projects which may include enrollment scheduling and fiscal management. Coordinates and leads high-profile stakeholder meetings that include University staff officials employers and community leaders. Prepares routine status reports; prepares interprets and disseminates information on projects and prepares correspondence reports and other documents as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business engineering or other related field. Five (5) years of experience in program development and program and/or project coordination or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience in similar role. Demonstrated experience in working independently maintaining strong organizational skills and communicating effectively both verbally and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in related field; three (3) years of experience in coordination of projects and/or programs.

Work Schedule
Monday Friday; 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Position is an in-office role with two (2) days per week hybrid as appropriate. Travel required. This position will be working in Arlington TX and Fort Worth TX.
