Job Summary
Evaluate immunosafety risk potential of candidate therapeutic large molecules employing in vitro immunosafety assays to support development of preclinical molecules.
- Execute human cytokine release assays including whole blood- and PBMC- based formats.
- Conduct complement activation assays troubleshooting and optimizing as needed.
- Perform cell subset isolation protocols on human whole blood or PBMC samples.
- Conduct T cell proliferation assay usings isolated cells.
- Analyze experimental data and maintain accurate documentation placing data in proper scientific context through review of relevant literature and reporting findings at team meetings.
Qualifications :
- B.S. in Biological Sciences Cellular Immunology or related field with typically 5 years of experience or Masters Degree or equivalent education with typically two years of experience.
- Understanding of cellular immunology with an emphasis on blood cell subsets and T cell biology.
- Experience with whole blood-based cell assays blood cell isolation and serum cytokine readouts.
- Experience with multicolor flow cytometry panel design BD LSRFortessa instrument operation BD FACSDive and FlowJo software and flow cytometry data analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
- Results-oriented work ethic and a positive can-do attitude with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivated desire to achieve common business goals.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic cross-functional matrix environment.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time ofthis posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic locationand we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
