The Salesforce Senior Developer will be part of the Co2oltec Commercial Refrigeration (CCR) Salesforce Center of Excellence and will report to the relevant Product Lead. The candidate will work as part of a scrum team and will be responsible for the timely and effective delivery of Salesforce and ServiceMax implementations across CCR. He/She will focus on the development testing and documentation of working custom development integrations and data migration elements for Salesforce implementations. The candidate will execute on the digital product roadmap for CRM and field service functions by utilizing contemporary software development methodologies.

How Youll Create Possibilities

Essential Responsibilities

  • Leads execution testing and implementation of software development efforts including coding configuration maintenance installation testing and debugging
  • Produces technical documentation as part of new development efforts
  • Participates in the planning and analysis of business requirements for new implementations system changes and enhancements
  • Determines technical solutions for complex business requirements ensuring Salesforce best practices are followed and trade-offs between configuration vs. custom code development are discussed and understood
  • Translates business requirements into creative and effective technical designs that drive the Minimum Viable Product concept in the organization
  • Provides level of effort estimates for proposed technical solutions and articulates the benefits and risks to a solutions feasibility and functionality
  • Performs configuration and customization of the platform
  • Implements and maintains Salesforce customizations such as custom fields and objects layouts workflows process builder and validation rules
  • Maintains user roles ensuring proper security and access controls
  • Remains current with Salesforce and ServiceMax technologies and best practices and shares knowledge across the team
  • Works as part of a scrum team and engages in all scrum ceremonies (release planning sprint planning daily stand-ups demos retrospectives etc.)

What Youll Bring to Our Team

Education / Certifications

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Management of Information Systems or related business discipline(s).

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience within the information technology function and/or increasing responsibilities within a related or relevant area of business.
  • Minimum of 4 years of proven hands-on experience in Agile methodologies in a working environment demand prioritization planning and execution to deliver software solutions
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce ServiceMax and core technologies including Apex VisualForce and the Lightning Component Framework
  • Current Salesforce Administrator and Developer Certifications preferred
  • Current ServiceMax 101102 and 301 certifications preferred
  • Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration as well as object-oriented design patterns and development; SAP solutions knowledge will be a plus during the selection process
  • Experience and expertise in core web technologies including HTML5 Javascript and jQuery
  • Experience and knowledge of relational databases data modeling and ETL tools
  • Experience with web services (REST & SOAP JSON & XML etc.)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tools and principles; Copado knowledge will be a plus during the selection process
  • Demonstrated success working in a team environment and ability to collaborate cross-functionally and in different geographic locations
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Exceptional analytical critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Adaptable and capable of working in fast-paced environments
  • Experience implementing and supporting products in enterprise size companies
  • Domain knowledge in industrial products and service delivery models preferred
