Job Summary
Position Title: Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
Location: Leesburg VA (20175)
Job Type: Contract Local or Travel
Shift: Day Shift 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Assignment Length: 24 Weeks
Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
Pay Rate: $19$23 per hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Personal Care Assistant (PCA)for an exciting job in Leesburg VA.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students with special needs
Assist with activities of daily living (toileting feeding dressing hygiene)
Support mobility transfers positioning and classroom participation
Implement behavior support plans as directed
Ensure student safety and assist with transitions throughout the school day
Support students during meals recess and transportation as needed
Document observations and communicate student needs to supervising staff
Maintain student dignity confidentiality and a safe learning environment
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working with children with disabilities preferred
Ability to follow directions and work under educator supervision
Strong communication patience and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience as a PCA Paraprofessional or Instructional Aide
Experience supporting students with mobility medical or behavioral needs
CPR/First Aid certification
Training in behavior management or de-escalation techniques
