GENERAL PURPOSE:
Assembles various components sub-assemblies into final assemblies; tensioners snubbers guides. Inspects and prepares for shipment.
GENERAL DUTIES:
Assembles tensioners utilizing hand assembly and/or set up and operate various equipment (i.e. stake riveter resistance welder hydraulic press multi-stage rotary indexing machines etc.). Performs visual and dimensional quality tests for conformity. Completes SPC-required reports. Assembles packing boxes oils assemblies and packs for shipment. Prepares timing systems for shipment.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
The Tensioner Assembler receives instructions from supervisor. Uses mathematical calculations involving decimals semi-complicated gauging equipment (i.e. micrometers verniers) and prepares SPC graphics. Makes significant decisions based on established guidelines. Performs work in accordance with several specific safety procedures. Close visual effort required for extended periods. Incumbent will keep work area in a neat and orderly fashion.

This individual will work in manners that stress the importance of preventing accidents and illnesses. He/she must take every precaution reasonable in the given circumstance for the protection of themselves and addition he/she is responsible for reporting all injuries and/or possible dangerous situations incidents or occurrences to the immediate supervisor.
