Verification Specialist/Cataloger Hong Kong

JOB SUMMARY
As aVerification Specialistyou will play a crucial role in our operation by reviewing and verifying customer submissions. With an understanding of collectibles including coins tokens and/or medals paper money comics trading cards and others you will ensure the accuracy of our database entries contributing to the overall grading process. Your attention to detail and proficiency in research and data entry will help maintain our companys reputation for delivering exceptional results to our clients all while adhering to strict production timelines.
WHAT YOU WILL DO AS A VERIFICATION SPECIALIST:
- Verify & Validate Submissions: Review collectible submissions to ensure all detailssuch as characters edition language denomination and other key identifiersare accurately recorded.
- Data Entry & Maintenance: Input item-specific details into proprietary systems with precision and consistency.
- Research & Identification: Use internal databases and resources to confirm authenticity and origin escalating complex cases as needed.
- Resolve Discrepancies: Collaborate with Client Services to address inconsistencies between customer submissions and received items.
- Ensure Quality & Accuracy: Maintain high standards of accuracy across multiple platforms while meeting production timelines.
- Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless verification process.
WHAT MAKES YOU THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Proficient in written and verbal communication in Cantonese Mandarin and English
- In-depth knowledge or strong interest in collectibles such as trading cards coins comic books or paper money.
- Experience with data entry and/or receiving (preferred but not required).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and verifying items.
- Strong research skills to confirm collectible details.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle high-volume submissions.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
