This is a Lead Software Engineering which is part of the job family responsible fordeveloping and maintaining software solutions that support business needs.

What youll do in the role:

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design development and delivery of scalable enterprise-grade reporting and analytics solutions as part of a greenfield project driving the build vs. buy evaluation and multiple POCs.
• Architect and implement robust software systems using Java Angular and other modern technologies ensuring best practices in SDLC code quality and performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders product owners and cross-functional teams to define requirements evaluate tools and deliver innovative solutions aligned with business goals.
• Drive the adoption of GenAI Copilot and AI-driven development practices to enhance automation reporting and developer productivity including design code completion review and automated test case generation.
• Mentor and lead a high-performing team of engineers fostering a culture of technical excellence continuous learning and innovation.
• Manage stakeholder relationships communicate project status and proactively address risks and challenges.
• Promote agile methodologies automated testing and CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends and champion their adoption where relevant.

What youll bring to the role:

Required Skills:

• 10 years of experience in software engineering with a strong background in full stack development specializing in Angular as the primary skill and React as a secondary skill.
• At least 6 years relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
• Strong experience in UI/UX design automated testing and use of modern test tools and frameworks (Jest Cypress Jasmine etc.).
• Experience integrating with backend services (Java Python REST APIs) and building full stack solutions.
• Deep understanding of data structures algorithms design patterns and modern SDLC practices.
• Proven experience building and scaling enterprise-level applications preferably in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in additional languages and frameworks (Java Python SQL databases etc.) and ability to quickly learn new tech stacks as needed.
• Demonstrated experience leveraging GenAI Copilot or AI-based tools for software development automation or reporting including automated testing and code review.
• Strong problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
• Experience leading and motivating high-performing teams and managing stakeholder relationships in a global environment.
• Mandatory: Prior experience in finance investment banking or related domains.
• Business acumen and ability to drive innovation and business impact through technology.
• Experience with automated testing and testing frameworks.

Additional Skills (Good to Have):

• Familiarity with Power BI Apache Airflow OLAP tools and workflow automation.
• Experience with tool evaluation POC delivery and greenfield project leadership.
• Passion for innovation continuous learning and delivering business impact through technology.
