The Purpose of the Role

CloudSmiths is looking for a Strategic Account Manager to own the long-term success of our most vital client accounts.
In this role you will be the bridge between business objectives and technology ensuring sustainable revenue growth delivery excellence and the cultivation of strong high-impact partnerships..
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver a 30% year-on-year growth in services revenue for your assigned strategic accounts!
- Leverage your deep industry and tech knowledge to guide clients through cloud adoption digital transformation and regulatory compliance!
- Lead high-level engagements including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and steering committees
- Manage the full sales cycle from RFPs and complex negotiations to contract renewals and margin management.
- Partner with Solution Architects and Developers to design technical solutions that solve real-world business problems.
- Develop 1236 month account plans anticipating client demand rather than simply reacting to requests.
What We Are Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B account management or sales within the enterprise technology sector.
- A Bachelors degree in Business Finance Computer Science or a related field; an MBA is considered advantageous.
- A technical background or significant exposure to cloud platforms with the ability to articulate technical value to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience within Financial Services or other regulated industries is a major plus.
- Exceptional communication presentation and negotiation skills.
- Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and productivity tools (Google Workspace preferred).
