Job Summary
Job Description:
A Finishing Supervisormanages the final production stage ensuring products meet quality safety and efficiency standards through team leadership workflow coordination (e.g. sanding painting packing) quality control training and managing materials and schedules for timely market-ready output. Key duties involve supervising workers inspecting final goods troubleshooting issues coordinating with other departments and maintaining compliance with health/safety rules.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership:Train mentor schedule and motivate finishing teams resolving conflicts and ensuring high morale.
- Production Oversight:Oversee activities like sanding painting staining assemblylabeling andpackaging.
- Quality Control:Conduct inspections implement corrective actions and ensure products meet specifications and standards.
- Workflow Management:Coordinate with production logistics and other supervisors for seamless operations and timely delivery.
- Safety & Compliance:Enforce safety protocols conduct training and ensure adherence to regulations.
- Reporting & Records:Maintain records track production data and report on results progress and issues.
- Materials & Equipment:Manage inventory of supplies and ensure machinery is maintained.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detailand focus on quality.
- Knowledge of specific finishing processes (e.g. construction garment manufacturing).
- Experience in supervision production or a related field.
