Caterpillars CISM division is looking to hire Procurement Services Professional in Peoria IL.

Role Summary: In this role you will be responsible for monitoring and supporting the execution and deployment of global solutions for optimized tariff cost solutions for Purchased Finished materials.

What Youll Do (Job Duties)

• Provide governance and oversight for the execution of tariff projects aligned with lean processes global market understanding tools and systems.
• Support Procurement teams on the development of optimized tariff solutions that are aligned with our business partners through the detailed understanding of VOB/VOC and business requirements.
• Contributes to strategic tariff initiatives such as the development of standardized best practices offerings services and development of associated tools & training.
• Serves as a technical representative for tariffs and will work directly with a wide range of procurement / enterprise representatives.

What You Have (Core Skills)

• Data Analytics: Knowledge of techniques and processes for inspecting cleansing transforming and modeling data; ability to discover useful information draw logical conclusions and support decision-making.
• Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit receive and accurately interpret ideas information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
• Negotiating: Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.
• Matrix Management: Understanding of the importance of being able to leverage external resources when required and ability to build and use effective working relationships within own department and across department functional and geographic reporting lines.
• Cost-Benefit Analysis: Knowledge of the principles and tools used in cost-benefit analysis; ability to analyze the purpose and scope of a producer product process or project in terms of cost and benefits.
• Procurement Function: Knowledge of responsibilities accountabilities and organization of procurement function; ability to perform tasks and activities of the procurement functions or department.

Top Candidates Will Also Have

• Working knowledge of analysis and reporting tools such as Excel Power Bi etc.
• Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries.
• Strong organizational and record keeping skills with high attention to detail.
• Project management skills.

Additional Details

• Work Location: Peoria IL
• Domestic relocation assistance IS NOT available for this role.
• Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this role.
• Travel: domestic up to 10%.
• This position requires 5 days per week in the office (M-F).

Summary Pay Range:
