The role
SoFis is looking for an experienced video and integrated campaign producer to join our in-house production studio. Your main focus will be producing assets developed by our production studio and in-house creative agency. Your role includes producing and post producing social media videos content series and edutainment videos as well as project managing simple to highly complex integrated campaigns and everything in between. Youll manage schedules budgets goals and solutions for project stakeholders and your teammates from concept through to delivery. Since SoFis brand is heavily aligned with sports marketing and Member Experiences you must be available to travel for productions at SoFi Stadium and other key SoFi locations throughout the year for key events.
This role requires a deep understanding of video audio production motion design/vfx and post production as well as integrated agency project management. Types of production projects include:
- Live action video
- Social media content
- Podcasts and webinars
- Event recaps
- Still photography
- GFX/VFX
- Voice over recording
- Editing and finishing
- Audio mixing and layback
- Digital content
As a member of our production studio this role will include:
- Contributing to the coordination of our production studios scheduling
- Bidding projects in order to manage budget expectations
- Tracking project costs from start to finish
- Managing projects from start to finish utilizing SoFis project management software
- Demonstrating a clear understanding of resource needed to produce a project
- Understanding of SoFis processes for onboarding and managing resources
- Negotiating production related fees and contracts
- Working with your peers and supervisor to review creative briefs and matrices in order to understand and weigh in on project strategy and scope
- Working collaboratively with our cross functional partners to plan and prioritize marketing and advertising projects and produce materials with our talented production team.
This role reports to our Lead Producer of our Content team. As part of our internal creative studio and brand strategy teams youll be involved in influential and exciting creative campaigns work with an incredibly supportive team and produce materials that help our members get their money right.
What youll also do:
- Help to develop and manage start to finish production processes within our production studio
- Lead and handle communications and workflows ensuring effective exchange of information and accurate asset delivery
- Navigate simultaneous project requests prioritize resources appropriately and help find a solution for associated challenges
- Evaluate projects and anticipate risks that may arise develop solutions and manage stakeholders expectations accordingly
- Produce maintain and advocate for the highest quality of creative possible within the given production parameters
- Work with your supervisor and marketing partners to evaluate project briefs and strategy in order to approach each project as efficiently as possible
- Develop and maintain project schedules workflows and house projections within our project management software
- Manage projects from request through to delivery including scheduling and attending creative reviews and gaining approvals from all stakeholders including our legal and compliance teams
- Organize and maintain our digital asset library including raw footage b-roll and final cuts to facilitate content repurposing and scalability.
- Work closely with your project management teammates in order to contribute to our culture of support collaboration and kindness.
What youll need:
- 4 years of working experience acting as a producer in a production company creative advertising agency or internal creative team with production capabilities
- Demonstrable expertise in video/TV creation and production processes
- Experience producing multiple types of creative assets in various formats
- Production hardware and software savvy
Strong interest in social media content creation
- Experience handling multiple vendor relationships
- Experience leading creative reviews with production insights and suggestions that will help turn ideas into reality
- Demonstrate deep familiarity with project planning effective resource management and solid production decisions and their effect on both creative output and your cross functional partners requirements
- Excel at managing expectations and are able to identify and articulate alternative solutions when changes arise
- Ability to work comfortably in a very fast-paced nimble environment
- Ability to be flexible with change and work with people possessing widely diverse working and communication styles
- Highly organized with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent time prioritization and project management skills
- Understanding of creative studio processes with creative advertising agency experience
- Skilled in asset management
Nice to have:
- Experience in Fintech or Financial industry is a plus
- Being a sports fan is a plus!
- Both production company and advertising agency experience is preferred
- Proficiency in Workfront (and other project management tools) is a plus
