Job Summary
MRI Technologist Night Shift
Location: Elmhurst NY 11373
Job Type: Contract Local or Travel
Shift & Schedule
Shift: Night Shift
Hours: 12:00 AM 8:00 AM
Schedule: 5 days/week
Weekly Hours: 35 hours
Schedule Notes: Alternating weekends and holidays required
Compensation
Local Weekly Pay: $2325
Travel Weekly Pay: $2759.50
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI procedures in an acute care setting. The technologist will operate MRI equipment ensure patient safety and comply with all regulatory and clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
Operate and maintain MRI equipment following safety guidelines
Adhere to departmental policies and regulatory requirements
Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
At least 1 year of MRI experience in an acute care setting
Experience working with MRI equipment
Knowledge of GE MRI systems
Education
Required: Associates degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Certifications & Licensure
Required:
NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist License
Current MRI certification/registration from one of the following:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
Preferred:
BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
