Job Purpose
The Marketing Coordinator provides day-to-day support to the Marketing Director and broader marketing team helping execute campaigns manage projects and ensure smooth coordination across channels and teams. This entry-level role is ideal for a highly organized detail-oriented and proactive individual looking to build a career in marketing within a fast-paced multi-location retail environment.
The Marketing Coordinator will support initiatives across loyalty and CRM social media community engagement partnerships promotions and digital channels while also serving as a frontline resource for customer service related to the mobile app loyalty program and social media inquiries. This role also supports administrative functions including calendar and meeting coordination for the Marketing Director.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Team & Project Support
- Provide administrative and project coordination support for the Marketing Director and marketing team members (Loyalty & CRM Social & Digital Community Engagement Partnerships etc.).
- Manage and maintain the Marketing Directors calendar including scheduling meetings coordinating cross-functional reviews and prioritizing requests.
- Assist with campaign timelines task tracking meeting coordination agendas and follow-up.
- Help prepare presentations reports and internal communications.
- Customer & Community Support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to the mobile app loyalty program promotions and social media.
- Monitor and respond to messages comments and reviews in coordination with the social and loyalty teams.
- Escalate technical issues complaints or sensitive situations to appropriate internal partners.
- Campaign & Content Coordination
- Support execution of marketing campaigns by helping manage assets calendars approvals and distribution.
- Assist with updating content across platforms including app email website social media and in-store digital channels.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on timelines and deliverables.
- Community & Event Support
- Assists with planning and execution of community programs partnerships fundraising initiatives and company events.
- Support logistics communications and post-event reporting.
- Reporting & Organization
- Help compile performance reports customer feedback summaries and campaign recaps.
- Maintain organized files contact lists calendars and documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing Communications Business or related filed (or equivalent experience).
- 0-2 years of experience in marketing communications customer service or a related internship.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office; familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing tools a plus.
- Professional proactive and service-oriented with strong follow-through.
- Experience in retail QSR or multi-location environments is a plus but not required.
