Staff Accountant

Location: Fort Worth TX
Schedule: Hybrid (work from home available after training)
Work Environment: Business Casual

Our Finance team plays a critical role in maintaining strong financial controls while supporting the business with reliable reporting and insights. What Youll Do

As a Staff Accountant you will support the day-to-day accounting operations and help ensure the accuracy of financial records. Youll work closely with senior accountants and management while gaining hands-on experience across multiple accounting functions.

Key responsibilities include:

Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies and GAAP
Prepare and post journal entries and support month-end and year-end close activities
Reconcile subsidiary ledgers and balance sheet accounts researching and resolving variances
Assist with financial statements management reports and payroll-related journal entries
Support cost tracking forecasting activities and fixed asset accounting including depreciation
Assist with daily cash application and basic treasury reporting
Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits
Participate in special projects ad hoc reporting and process improvement initiatives

What Youll Need

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (preferred)
12 years of accounting or finance experience (internships included)
- Preferred: 1 year of public accounting or 2 years of industry experience
Basic understanding of GAAP and financial statements
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office tools
Exposure to ERP systems preferred (QAD is a plus not required)
Strong attention to detail organization and time-management skills
Analytical mindset with clear professional communication skills
